Getting RDS working in Android 13 Stereo in Facelift Fiat 500 or Abarth #CarPlay #androidauto #rds

Although this stereo was working fine it had a weak signal for the radio. I installed a new aerial which took care of the signal problem and it's now picking up more stations however the RDS feature doesn't seem to work.

Having researched, I discovered that for some reasons best known to the manufacturers, the RDS feature is turned off as default. Come and see how to switch it on. Chances are you're here for the same problem I had, so save yourself some time and watch this. Quick job.
