Great video. The only thing I would add is to consider whether or not a gust factor is needed. Thanks for your hard work of producing these videos.

Super helpful for student pilots thank you! I was going to ask you if once the main wheels touch down and the nose is still pitched up if he is using rudder inputs to keep on the center line but you answered while I was typing lol. You said full back pressure once the mains touch down. Is there any risk in a tail strike with full back pressure? Thx!

Why he removed his hand from the throttle during final after "idle"? I think its a mistake.

Just quick refresher keep the flaps in correct? Short field raise flaps and keep back pressure but soft field keep flaps in?

I've got a checkride in 2 days, being a little ambitious as I haven't flow in 2 months prior to today. Did one soft field landing, wasn't pretty, gotta work on it tomorrow

Great Video now I'm gonna have to practice those again. Got relaxed on them because I'm always on a hard runway.
Also no loud blearing music that's playing too.
One other comment check your mic because your voice is a little scratchy but audio from the Airplane was clear.

Why would we not want to make the softest touchdown possible on every landing?

What was your rpm on the soft field landing before touchdown? Thx

I believe I would keep my hand on the throttle just in case you need to add some power quickly. Was a good landing, but I believe not having a hand on the throttle is a mistake.

Very Professional. This will help student pilots fly soft landings.

When the mains are on the ground, is it ONLY rudder at that point to maintain the centerline?

Do we need to add bit power during roudout ?
