Top 10 Underrated Board Games 2024 | Why Are These Ranked So Low?

Great list of games! Dale of Merchants is sooo good! I have played or own most of these and I agree with you! I have Caesar's on shelf in shrink wrap! Sounds like I really need to get it played! I have also been looking at getting your number 1! I heard similar positive comments from others. Now I know I need to go look for it! Love me some Dinosaurs!

Burgle Bros for me. It’s one of the best simple thematic co-operative out there.. such a cool game. And a nice small box too. Currently it’s 367 on BGG rankings and I don’t often hear people talk about it

Hooky. I don't even know its ranking, but I know it's not high enough for one of the best games in logical deduction. Mottainai and Mouse Cheese Cat Cucumber are two more that most people haven't even heard of, which is a shame for the value you get in a small deck of cards.

I have several of these and enjoy them all. First Rat, Caesar’s are maybe the top two. I’d be interested in Tribes of the Wind, but I keep seeing the word solitaire in BGG comments so that’s a red flag.

Pan Am is underrated I think

Dice Miner is a blast and probably my wife and my most played game since we got it -very easy to knock out 3+ games in a sitting. Never played more than 2p and think getting less dice wouldn’t be as fun.

Underrated: No Thanks! It’s in the 500s so decently ranked, but it’s cost + ease of play + ability to deliver enjoyment for non-gamers is a 10/10 combo.
