Hey Consumer reports. Stop saying things like a “lackluster interior” and “climate controls” are included in a reliability report. Getting from A to B is what makes a vehicle reliable, not the infotainment system. Report those issues too, but they don’t make a vehicle reliable. Misleading

Moral of the story is regardless of brand get the most simple vehicle you can buy with the few electronic assists.

How is a Ram 2500 on the most reliable list and the 3500 most unreliable when they are nearly identical vehicles?

Hey Dave, did you change your Microphone's ? To me your voice sounds different. Sounds pretty hollow, no base.

The Silverado 2500HD was not redesigned until 2020. The 2017 thru 2019 2500HD are the same truck. It was the 1500 (1/2 ton) trucks that were redesigned in 2019.

I agree with the earlier commenter, Kenneth Walton, for the same reasons. The vehicles you shared here, Dave, begs the question... Where the heck is the quality control with these various manufacturers? I'm particularly surprised that Honda had several vehicles on this list given their history of being more reliable than not. As for the Ram 3500HD, the price point of this vehicle is around $80K. For that much money, there's no excuse for the quality control issues here. smh...

Good video. Not surprised by some of them given the fact they were all new in 2018 so there is going to be issues when something's all new. Not surprised about the heavy duty trucks I own a construction business and there's a reason why I use Fords not Chevys or Dodge's/Rams 😊 trans

It's good to hear and see different perspectives. Great opinions even though others might say the vehicle is fantastic.

I don’t know what year chevy’s they’re referring to but I bought a brand new dually in 2015. It had major trailer wiring problems, and the rear end started leaking everywhere after 20k miles. It had some great features but after dealing with some of the dealers I won’t get another one unless it’s used or given to me. I tried to get them to fix the rear end under warranty and they said well wipe it with a rag and check it again in a week I said you think I didn’t do that last month. The whole bed had to be rewired and they said they did it but I checked when I got the truck back and all the wires were still caked in Texas dirt. I was like yeah you definitely rewired it. Two different dealers by the way. Both didn’t want to fix the issues they got paid to fix. They just took the money Chevy gave them and pushed the problem on me thinking I’d never crawl under the truck again.

I have a 2015 Silverado HD 6 litre engine with 64k miles, not even a hiccup. Which nyears and engines were you referring to? A little specificity would be nice, give me a break !

I have a 2014 Silverado 1500. It has a harsh ride, but I bought it for long-term reliability. Only replaced battery and brake pads.
