‘Teacher mums’ in China support left-behind children

A primary school vice-principal in eastern China’s Jiangsu province started a project called “Teacher mums” back in 2008. Chen Jinghua wanted to do something for students whose parents work far away from home. Over the years, many teachers from other schools joined his initiative.
