I love Interview with the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat. Read them when I was a teenager and had a big crush on Louis and Lestat. 😍

Very sad to hear the passing. Peace be with her, and those who loved her! Poetry is very hit and miss with me. Being an actor before my accident I had a major issue with poetry. These are definitely up my alley and have been added to my ever extending read list.

Yes, Interview With the Vampire! It was my favorite book for over a decade and still remains in my top few. Rice’s writing is lush and evocative. She made me fall in love with New Orleans long before the first time I set foot in that wonderful city.

Of course graphic novels are something I'd love since I already delv into many manga/comics. "The Crow" seems strange, but in an interesting way.
"Hauntings" Definitely seems like something I'd enjoy going through. As much as I enjoy long form novels/stories.. I have an appreciation for short ones as well. You just get so many little experiences, different emotions, perspectives depending on the different characters, in a short amount of time. Love the little shading, dark art style too.
"It was like falling in love, dying, resurrecting, and falling in love again" You got me sold on "Interview With The Vampire" and im ngl, I do like Vampires as much as you were right with your reasoning for not being the biggest fan of them haha.

i had no idea interview with the vampire was as old as 1976. its a great lesson that eternal life on this side can be a hell and death is not such a bad thing afterall

I met James O' Barr and got him to sign my copy of this back in the early 90s. Great book. OMG That second book. I love his illustrations. I hope someday to find that copy of Interview with a Vampire. My favorite Anne Rice book is The Witching Hour. Great video.

The short stories collection looked nice. Something I would like. Off topic: a few years ago you talked about a book. It had a pair of eyes on it and can't remember if the cover was blue or purple. Can't remember the author's name or the title. Can you recall which book I am talking about? It is annoying when you can't remember the author or the title.😅 PS; Nice to have you back.

I have a copy of the crow from the second issued printing I believe it is. Still in the plastic. I’ve had it out a few times. It’s a fantastic graphic novel!

That is an incredible copy of Interview. Way better shape than mine. I have a collection of most of her works. Several 1st editions and a signed copy of Lasher. Love Anne Rice. Hope you go further into this series.

I have a copy of Hauntings too! I'm a huge fan of Gorey's artwork so I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to hunt down every anthology he illustrated.
