When you mean the sprockets in the middle do you mean the dot that is the mark facing straight up or what do you mean that confuse me a little bit

@Rick c. I am in the same boat as you were last year timing a 6.8. just to double check from what i saw in your video, the crank key is set at the 11 with both cam shafts at the 12 in relation to the head?

How come you had yours lined on the right cam on a half link? If your right cam is a half link on the mark and the left cam mark is in the middle of a link does that mean the engine jumped time?

I believe my 02 Explorer 2v must be at TDC before removing chains, but have heard others say 9 and/or 12 which I think may be for a 3v or 4v Questions: do I need to block tires, set parking brake and put in neutral? Do you rotate clockwise as if you're standing over the engine bay from the front?
