Roy Keane just loves Denis Irwin. What a player Denis was though. Both feet, LB, RB, penelties, free kicks, consistent, UCL, multiple PL titles. He had it all.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy doesn't get spoken about much but he was as clinical as Alan Shearer in his prime. Deadly in the box

He might be biased but you can tell what a great captain Roy was because he chose players not only based on their skills but most importantly on loyalties, of the good memories he shared with them as teammates, their characters, their working ethics, and he still felt bad leaving anyone out!

“There’s no stopping him now” about Gary Neville is definitely one of the most accurate things ever 😂

In fairness to Roy’s loyalty to Dennis Irwin - Dennis was an outstanding footballer. Everything you could ever want in a defender

Roy Keane's loyalty to his teammates is always funny yet wholesome to me lol. His face at the start saying he don't like doing this, reminds me of that time him and Jamie did the combined XI.."no Giggsy?" lol.

I've watched this a few times, and I can't help just take from it, that Keane is not only extremely humble.... but his respect for other players as HUMANS, is amazing. He's spoken about taken advice and tips off senior players, when he was in his youth... and also he always talks about being a senior player, and having others take information from him. At 35 years old, the names of Hughes, Sharpe, Bruce etc.... it's great to see him remind me of how good they were. Whatever you think of his punditry, you can't deny he's so respectful about players HE'S played with, and also humble about his journey.

If Roy Keane names you as a CM in his all time team, you KNOW you’re a very decent player!!! Paul Ince was amazing and so glad he got a mention.

Roy is such a class act, always thinking and worrying about all his team mates he couldnt fit in, he has so much respect and and devotion to them.
Its a joy to watch his passion when he speaks about them all.

Steve Bruce with 52 goals as a centre back is unreal

I love how he has so much respect for Ruud. "When you don't score or don't win a game, it was not his fault, it was ours." Perfectly summarises how clinical Ruud was at United.

The players he left out could arguably make a team just as good as the one he picked. Incredible depth of class in the Man Utd player books.

Not a Man Utd fan. 28 minutes flew by. Could listen to Keane for hours. I can't think of any other ex-player I like listening to more. Huge respect.

Keane's comments on David Beckham, both on this show and in other places, always solidify what pretty much what everyone who has played with him always says... A player who, despite being arguably the biggest superstar in the sport at the time, was always a hard worker on and off the pitch and a consummate professional.

Denis Irwin was way ahead of his time, he’s what every full back should aspire to today, he could prob play in any position on the pitch was a 7/10 every game at the very least. He could defend with the very best of them and was a regular threat going forward. His set pieces were world class also, unbelievable player
