The beautiful yellow blooms of mexican mint marigold looks so nice in the fall with the orange topical milkweed and purple asters. And orange persimmon fruit and pomegranate and the landscape pops!

I second Green Thumbelina below. Jim and Stephanie make a great team! So nice to see couples who share lifelong interests. It's a great idea to plant the annuals while the perennials and shrubs grow up. Looks great and so effective at providing protection and preventing weeds. Thanks guys!

Hello new friend here! Thank you for sharing your garden with me. I just love how it’s all coming 🫑🍅🪴👍together and growing so nicely! I love to garden and I also make garden videos. I wrapping up my 3rd year gardening. I’m sad it’s coming to an end. I have so much to still learn. I’d love it if we could learn more from each other! My plans for my off season is to learn as much as I can about gardening and making videos.

I have a late blooming mum with a dusty rose color which lights up the garden unexpectedly..Very reliable, I’m always looking forward to it.

I am in zone 9b Bay Area CA, I love seeing my pepper harvest, zinnias, and mums in the fall. I do get a little sad for fall/winter though, as I ❤️❤️❤️ the ☀️.

Favorite fall bloomer: Sedum Autumn Joy

In Central Illinois, zone 5B, I know fall is beginning when sedum Autumn Joy begins to turn pink. It's a cast iron plant that is impervious to whatever Mother Nature dishes out, even a two month drought this summer. It's so easy to divide, but even if I was too lazy to do that all I need to do is stick a piece of it in the ground and a new plant will grow. I have swathes of it in my south facing front beds, and coupled with panicum virgatum towering behind, it's a show stopper.

I’m in Maryland zone 7 (a/b). Same as you, asters and mums assure me that fall is on the way. We’ve had lots more rain this summer! Thanks for sharing your garden.

A favorite late blooming plant is Beyond Pink'd Caryopteris incana. Full sun, long blooming and a great pollinator.

Jim and Stephany, I love seeing both of you in the videos! I would love to see a Q&A with both of you sometime soon. My favorite fall-blooming perennials would have to be the tall showy sedums. As soon as they start blooming, they are loaded up with pollinators of every size and shape. I hope that we will have a long and extended fall this year, to make up for the cold spring and dry summer. That would be such a blessing! I hope you guys have a great Labor Day weekend! ~Margie🐝💐🦋😊

When Fall is approaching, I get excited. It means the extreme heat is coming to an end here in Dallas and that my Asters, Mums, Sedum and Montauk Daisies have just begun blooming or will be blooming soon. This year I can add my first Camellia to the list, after you convinced me I needed one 😊
