September Garden Tour + our new Garden Toy 🍂 🌱 | Perennial Garden

It's September 2023 and time for another garden tour of what's growing here in our garden in Fredericia, Denmark (zone 8a).

We've had a lot of rain and wind these past several days... but despite the weather (and the autumn weather coming in), we've still got a lot of perennials in flower. From one solo Foxglove to Painted Sage still showing out with pinks and blues, there's plenty of color and texture to finish the season off with a bang.

And we've got a brand new garden toy (a tool, actually) that helps us keep weeds out of our gravel path — a weed burner. Stick around to watch that in action and see just how quickly it burns weeds.

Here are some of the perennials and garden plants that we'll show on this tour of the garden:
0:46 Rudbeckia hirta
0:53 Salvia viridis
1:09 Blue delphinium
2:18 Dahlias
3:42 Setaria italica 'Red Jewel'

I don't just like your garden I love it! I am also in the process of making more room for plants especially for pollinators, I also have the Salvia viridis it has just flowered all summer long it is beautiful. My persicaria was a small plant when purchased last year it has spread just like yours gorgeous, I'm going to put it in other parts of the garden too. I seem to have a lot of the same plants has your good selves. I so enjoy following your channel it's wonderful thankyou boys : )

Just wow! You still have so much colour in your garden - my garden is looking a little dark as I mostly have salvia amistad and verbena in flower (I'm in the south of the UK), something I need to rectify next year. Sadly we have had lots of rain and very strong winds so my garden has been rather battered! So pleased we will be still getting videos although I shall miss the garden tours. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden!

I’m in love with your garden :) So many varieties, it’s incredible. Each plant flows seemlessly to the next and everyone gets along (which I know is really hard to do)! Thanks for the inspiration :)

The garden is beautiful. Will still be in the winter. Just different. I love your stone borders on the pathways. How did you build them? Nova Scotia here, amazingly my garden hasn’t been touched by frost yet. September was warm. Post tropical storm Philippe on the way tomorrow. Bringing more warm air with it. Love all your dahlias.
