Specs as tested:
Intel Core i7 7920HQ 3.1GHz
16GB LPDDR3 2133
1TB SSD
AMD Radeon Pro 560 4GB

Thanks for watching!

I got base 13" 2016 model. Best laptop i ever seen. Fast, silent and long living. Hard to imagine, that it could be any better.

I'm using the 2017 13" with no touchbar. So far so good. Used the $ from the touchbar to get 16GB of RAM.

Nice video dude. I got my 2017 Pro 15inch in space gray about 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it. Far better compared to my older 2013 Air lol.

Good job mate. I ended up buying a 2017 13" w/TB because of the price. In the US it's $1299 nTB w/128GB, $1499 w/256GB. I bought mine through a certified Apple reseller (BestBuy).

My system is a 2017 13" TB 512GB for $1612. It was a no brainer for about $100 extra I doubled the 256GB HD space (compared to a $1499 MSRP nTB), which normally would have costed +$200. The MSRP for my computer is $1999, but bought brand new for $1612 (w/discounts, and no gift cards).

Also, there was a special that got me a Logitech MX Anywhere 2S (latest version) for 50% off. This is the latest mouse that retails for $79.99, which I got for $40. All in all, I got a 2017 13" TB 512GB w/ Logi MX Anywhere 2S mouse for $1652 out the door. To anyone on the fence, try to get it at a discount. Well worth it at the price I paid, but definitely not at Apple MSRP.

Great video.

To be honest the 2015 MacBook Pro's kick ass in 2017.

I don't think I'll need a better computer than this current 2015 MBP.

Same goes for my iPhone 7 Plus. Why does it need to be any better?

Normal activities are now amazing (except on Windows machines which suck).

I have a Windows Laptop and I have to keep messing round with settings to sort it out. My MacBook Pro just works.

Although I can only play certain games on Windows which sucks.

Thanks for the video! but i have to disagree about the ram. Many creative users who get a macbook pro could defintiely benefit with more than 16gb ram. as we speak, my photoshop workflow averages 19 gb usage, not including system use.

120Hz Pro Motion display would be nice and also fixing whatever shit is rattling inside the LCD back cover when you title these laptops from left to right.

the only issue with 2016 is their battery i heard and they don't have kaby lake processors.

I have one for one year and I needed it for my job. After 13 months of moderate- couple hours a day, use, screen started to flicker and I was unable to do anything about it. To add insult to injury apple store is asking $750 to fix that. Please do yourself favor and avoid this expensive peace of trash that would cost you much more than you are paying right now.
Also while in apple store another customer brought in identical Mac book pro 2017 15”.5 retina laptop with identical problem and it was told same thing. They want $750 to repair it. Well done Apple, be ashamed of yourself

You never mentioned the speedstep technology and kaby lake is seeing a 25% performance upgrade in the 13" MBP.

Everybody should know putting the touch screen on mac is too easy for apple. Way easier than ARM touch bar.

What about base non touch bar models? They seem to have a bit more upgrades. Better graphics, RAM, base processor.

Hey. New subs here. I wanna ask you. Should I buy 12" MacBook or 13" MacBook Pro (Base)? Since the prices are basically the same, I value portability and I will use it to designing web. The storage of 12" MacBook is nifty too but a lot of people sugesting me to get 13" because it's better specs. Honestly, I don't really care about the specs because I'm not into editing video or any intensive workload. Just some designing software like Sketch, Photoshop. Also, web browsing and watching YouTube. Thanks and have a nice day ;)

"16GB is perfectly fine" No, it's not. Many people who buy this will need more and you don't need to use that RAM yourself to notice improvement: the OS is constantly caching stuff and the result will be a better battery life and a faster computer overall. People need to stop saying X amount of RAm is "perfectly fine" because it's bullshit.

What is your source about the screen differences? I thought they both were 8 bit and simulated 10 bit with dithering. Thnaks
