Over 35 years ago, I had plantar warts on the sole of my left foot. One big one and dozens of smaller ones. Someone told me that heat might kill the virus, so I soaked my foot in the hottest water I could stand every day for a month. At the end of the month, the whole area swelled up like a cauliflower and a bunch of tiny black dots fell out of the warts. Within a few days, every single wart disappeared and never came back.

When I was 19, I had over 90 warts on my hands. The doctors started by using burning them off. Then they used cryo freezing. It took 2 or 3 years to get rid of them. I'm 76 now and I haven't seen any scars in decades.

I’ve had a wart on the palm of my hand for about 9 years now, I recently got it off and it feels so much better

Hi. As a kid I got warts all over my feet. At one point I had 93 warts all together. My mother took me to several doctors who proscribed some type of chemicals to put on the warts but it did nothing. I had this issue for a couple of years. I remember being so self-concuss about it when I was 8 we went to Tunisia for summer holidays and I walked in the very hot sand. All my warts disappeared shortly after. As a grownup I was diagnosed with EDS and I think that might have something to do with how I could get so many warts as I had. Haven’t had a single wart since then.

I had several on my hands when I was in elementary school. I remember how much they bothered me . Was so grateful to get them frozen off

I love to read the old remedies, like the first two comments on here. Sometimes the old remedies work just fine.
I sure didn't know that you could spread warts on your own body.

My dad thinks that’s gross but me and my mom watch it. You are so good at pimple popping.

I have had a few of these throughout the years but thankfully not for a long time. These are not pleasant. I did not know they were contagious until I was in basic training though. The drill sgts informed us that if we had them we needed to keep them to ourselves lol

I had a wart once and a friend of mine told me to use Vitamin A (capsules and I would make a tiny hole in it) and put it directly on the wart and I did and over a period of time, it went away. 😊

I had warts on my hand as a child. I was told to cut a potato, rub it on the wart thank plant the potato, so I did and my wart went away and never had another one 😊

I remember digging one out the size of a molar from the arch of my foot when I lived in Germany 20 years ago. Got drunk, grabbed a clean utility knife blade and went to town on it 😂. The roots on that thing were huge! It's never come back though!

My daughter, from the age of like 3 to 7 and a half, had awful warts all over her cuticles and fingers! Nothing outside of freezing helped, and she was too scared for even the home kit for freezing. Finally, she stopped chewing on her fingernails etc, and they disappeared SO FAST, thankfully! So if anyone has this issue, and you chew your nails or cuticles, STOP! It's 100% the most effective method. I ACTUALLY think, really, it got better through the absence of chewing and spreading, and her just getting older (hormones, maybe) I did read somewhere that they usually go away at some point. Still, they are kind of a mystery, but I'm glad they are gone and she has one less thing to be self conscious about while attend8ng public school

I moved to the middle of my state when I was 10 (to my dads) and developed one just below my fingers on my palm.. Step mom would put liquid remover on it.. But it just took too long to attemp to get rid of it and I was embarassed to hold my boyfriends hand.. So I would use nail clippers to cut it down and sometimes my teeth.. Im really surprised that I never developed any other ones.. And when I moved back to my moms at 13.. It just disappeared.. So I never knew how/where I got it.. Or how/why it suddenly disappeared 🤔🤷‍♀️

Idk why but covering it in duct tape really helped when I was younger. Better than anything else.

Military medicine taught me how to use a cotton tip soaked in ACV and let that sit directly on the wart overnight, wrapped in duct tape. Few days and the thing is dead. You’ll have a crater if you’re too aggressive about it though

I had some small ones in my hands when I was younger, and my daughter got one, too, that opened up like a flower when it was wet. Dandelion root gently and completely got rid of all of them.

Literally, no one has told this to me, even doctors. I had no clue I could spread my own warts. I did notice that, when I stopped picking at my hands, the warts went away. So, I'd get my nails done because I couldn't pick as much with my nails done. This is so helpful

When I was a young kid my sister developed several warts on her hand and fingers. My parents had a friend that was a doctor from the Philippines. He simply suggested we rub in some castor oil a couple times a day. All the warts were gone after a couple weeks. It was amazing.
