cheers mate i got a AOC U2868Pqu 28 inch today its my first 4k i researched a bit first thats who i found your vid it looks awesome thanks again also you need a display port on your card to feel benefit on these plus a ps4 wont look any better this is to others who are struggling 60hz is only possible with that at this time hdmi 02 i dont think there are any cards that can do that

May I know which version of Mac OSX u using and what connection you using? Coz I have problem with the display port having some display problem at the right 10% of the screen.

Really crisp vid, thanks. One point tho - is DP1 to b used, or HDMI1 port (port 2 is for PC)? Also, for DP1, the adapter (hdmi-DP, and Vice versa) will be needed. PL clarify ASAP

I just got the same Samsung 4k monitor and didn't come across your video until today. Thanks for the info! A question though, I have the samsung 4k monitor as my primary display and a regular 1920x1080 monitor as my secondary. I adjusted the scaling on the 4k but it also affected the 1080p monitor as well, is it possible to adjust scaling for each monitor on its own without affecting other displays? :D

Question: Is the 200% scaling option only available on UHD screens or is it available in QHD also? I'm not sure I want to go straight to 4k, I am considering QHD and I think the best scaling option is 200% since it's just 2x normal size, so double the pixels just like Retina screens - this should look better in theory than any other scaling options.

Hi there, quick question, I have the same Samsung monitor as this I believe, when connecting it at the back, do I need to daisy chain it with DisplayPort or can I connect it directly to the PC's DisplayPort port?

About 11 months ago I had issues with my monitor being kinda yellowish. The color quality is not that great. 11 months later, I still need to know if you've come across anything like that. When I play World of Warcraft, the color is not vibrant. The yellow looks more green. Anyway to fix this?

I just bought the Alienware R5 i9 version with QHD. (1) How do I connect it to a 4K monitor (2) will it show me 4K resolution or just QHD scaled up? (3) If it shows 4K resolution and I record the screen using camtasia 9 will I be able to record in 4K or QHD? If only in QHD, can I record in 4K by putting the display only in the external monitor? Please help me with this.

Why when I follow these instructions not only does my computer run slower but it messed up my theme when going to 120% - Im running a 1060 6 gig video card 32 gig ram so hardware is not an issue

btw guys use a 2.0 hdmi not a 1.4 because you wont get your 60 refresh rates and itll only stay at 30 and once u get the proper cord youll have to readjust everything
