Wood is a class A fire, not all powder extinguishers are for class A, some are just class B + C Water is best, but you can use foam as well as a class A rated powder extinguisher.

Reminds me when my mum was working security at a supermarket. A lot of the time outside they has a bottle of water on them. Not for rehydration but for extinguishing small fires in waste bins and cigarette ash cans: way cheaper than blasting off a fire extinguisher and faster than calling the fire brigade. If it's smoking and it shouldn't, water it.

Interesting, I'm sure they said for all fire's:s I remember the description says new age fire extinguishers use protein powder which instantaneously gasifies and consumes whatever the fires gaseous fuel is :o 70 quid but lasts far longer on the scene and shelf

CO2 just work with Logam Material, and electricity, wich is it must be use for inside room, actually powder extinguiser more instanly effective for every type of fire
