Here we are showing you how to treat honey bees very quickly using oxalic acid vapor. We use a Pro-vap 110 and this treatment is 100% effective against varroa mites. Varroa mites spread viruses into a honey bee hives and are one of the main killers of honey bees. Oxalic acid is naturally found in cabbage, spinach, beet tops and rhubarb. When applying OA to a bee hive, be sure to use a respirator that is OV (organic vapor) approved.

If you wrap the cup with muffler wrap, I forgot the name of it, it will heat up faster and in the same time, it will not cool below 200C where you will never have to stick anything in that little 1/4" pipe; I had the same issue until I've done that, no more problems as the temp don't go much bellow 200C; I credit that to the Ian in Canada's beekeeper; I live in MI so that issue with the little nail every so often pissed me off, as I had a lot of hives to go thru, I got two provap's, bit expensive but works perfect.
