Thank you for the good advices. I learned this piece 50 years ago, probably with the same challenges you mentioned in this video. Playing it slow is probably not so well understood when you are young. So it is very good advice. What is helping me personally most is 1. play without music sheet 2. keep the ego under control. Do not try to be better than you are. Relax. 🤓😋🥰. Do not be too stubborn on fingering and melody. Make it your own piece.

Her teachings are spot-on correct. I've gone through frustrating moments while practicing because of my impatience, thinking that I already have what it takes to get to the next level. I was spot-on wrong, time and time again.

I only wish all this information was there 20+ years ago... Due to injuries, during military service, I will never be able to play the pieces I always wanted to play. I can barely play Malaguena, But seeing such a robust catalog of videos and dialog on playing and territorials. You are doing amazing work. In today's society this kind of dedication gets lost. Asturias was the piece I was working on last and before my life went to the left. I always liked the harmonics. Lord bless and keep you and your family. The world needs you light. keep doin what you do or those songs will be forgotten!

Best advice I've ever heard. I was fortunate to see A.V. perform in an intimate listening space in NYC, several years ago. I was mesmerized by her restraint and ability to never overpower the strings or kill her tone.

I would love to hear Ana play this piece at that slower tempo! Even her practice is beautiful to hear.
