I know I am very late, but I think I found out what each of the upgrades do.

The first upgrade, which Eddie missed, is the Holy Water upgrade which allows you to dispel fire in one shot instead of using both vials.

The second upgrade is for the lamp. It makes it last longer, which the base lamp oil sucks ass, so it's a good idea to grab it.

The third upgrade is for the salt sprayer, which I think reduces the cool down for the sprayer. I've noticed with the upgrade, there are less ticks before recharging, while the base sprayer takes a bit longer.


The final upgrade is for the crucifix. I'm still not entirely sure what it does, but I think it either lessens the amount of time it takes to dispel something, or it increases the vibration for the controller so you can tell where to aim the crucifix easier.
