What an amazing experience, thank you for sharing. As an outdoorsy kinda guy and a hunter these kind of moments tug at all kinds of emotions .. everything between being absolutely beautiful and down right heartbreaking. In learning to allow myself to feel all of them I now describe Mother Nature's circle of life as a "Beautiful Disaster that all need to experience". Thank you again for taking us on your journey!

I found a moose laying in the snow once with similar injuries. when I approached it there were wolf tracks everywhere, circling. Wolves just wait for the moose to die slowly to "try" to avoid injuries to the pack, in this case like you mentioned wolves were probably having a tough time in the deep water.. Someone in this area documented a drowned wolf on the mattawa river most likely from a moose. its no wonder wolves have a very short life span having to take down such a majestic beast for a meal.

That was crazy, I can only imagine how it must have felt to be so close to one of life's greatest struggles. I bet you could just feel it in the air.

Mother Nature provides beautiful scenery which I loved in the video, but nature’s sad and upsetting scenes were also captured. Wolves play an important role in nature…several years ago, although wolves had been obliterated in Yellowstone, I believe 14 wolves were reintroduced to the Park, which have greatly helped the balance of nature from fauna to flora.
