Hey, very informative!

There's something not clear to me though, those minor keys that you mentioned would be the aeolian mode or the actual Harmonic Minor scale? or both?
I never know for sure whether the melody should be classified as modal or as a key itself. (regarding minor keys)

What if it doesn't cross over the seventh major which would define the key as minor. Would this be modal or can still be considered tonal?

And finally, what actually defines a key? Is it the seventh major?
