Instant Karma For Bad Driver!

This police van stopped in front of the pedestrian crossing to let an old man cross, but this driver decided to ignore the pedestrian and drove right into him. This action pushed the elderly man back and led to a fall. The most bizarre thing is that the whole incident happened right in front of the police officers, who first ensured the man was okay and then activated their sirens and went after the negligent driver.

It's Poland, trust me the BMW driver don't have license an 30 minutes after this event, they didn't rush because they already had the plates on dash cam, in my country it's so strict with this I wouldn't be shocked if he is in jail

In Germany you have to approach a zebra crossing with caution. When a pedestrian is seen with the intent to cross, drivers have to stop, but the pedestrian also has to give drivers time to react. So you can't just change direction and walk onto the road, you have to look also for cars.

A lot of rules broken here. 1. Driver has to stop if the pedestrian nears the crossing only. The pedestrian doesn't have to enter the crossing (Poland). 2. The driver can't pass the crossing if other cars stopped already. Both cases produce enough points to get driver-s license confiscated on spot, fines of 700 euro + obligatory fee for towing of the car (200-300 euro). Then more serious things. It's actually an accident - old man was touched and he fall on the ground. So... 3. Run from the accident site. 4. No help provided for the accident's victim. Both are felonies now. Driver licence confiscated for 3-5 years. Fines of 2-3k euros. Felony record. Uff...

In Germany: ignoring pedestrian at road crossing = ignoring red light. But in this case it would be much more as the car almost injured the pedestrian. Then fleeing without taking care makes it worth. That is jail!

In Jamaica we have a saying "You will never see a car in the hospital". It does not matter who's fault it is if you are dead. I suggest waiting till all vehicles stop before walking infront of them. Remember, you cannot control crazies, you can only control your actions.

New laws protecting pedestrians and cyclists were past last year in Britain the driver would have been banned fined and if there was any injuries jailed.
