That’s just one really good reason why we have fire alarm strobes and speakers such as a voice evacuation system or mass notification evacuation which can notify you of a fire and a lock down in many other things such as a chemical spill or a gas leak or carbon monoxide

I bought a fire alarm on Amazon, when it goes off, ( as when I burn something cooking) it has a voice that says " ( it is also a carbon monoxide alarm) if a cheap little fire alarm can do this why can't bigger alarms?

My teacher had a meeting but she didn't leave until the sub came she one of my favorite teachers tho her class is a bit tough

I had a teacher that lived close to the school. One day he heard his home alarm go off and he told us what happened and left to go deal with it. We thought he'd be back in fifteen or twenty minutes. We spent the whole period waiting for him or at least a substitute. But I guess back then tenth graders didn't need supervision.

TBH its every schools fault for using the same alarm for both procedures and they should have announced that there was a fire on the intercom so basically not the teachers fault

At my school, the administration says "please initiate a lockdown. Lockdown, lockdown." and we have a high pitched alarm for fires.

There are a couple of teachers that I miss. I’m only 23 but I remember my elementary school teacher and aid decided not to give us any work for that day. That day we just close the blinds and the blinds on the door. The reason why was because the teachers aide brought her Nintendo Wii in. So literally, we just spent the day playing Mario kart until we had to go home.

I dont think it's the teachers fault if the alarms weren't distinctive between the two to avoid confusion

Soo glad I didn’t have to practice lockdown alarms and we were always told that there was going to be a fire alarm rehearsal for evacuation! Even back when I was in school it had a way for a teacher to speak over the tannoy!

I have a story about my drama teacher. They got fired for swearing at the kids. This happened on multiple occasions. There was even a time he swore at another teacher. That was just the beginning. After that it got really weird in that class We saw him checking out a girl in our class and making really dirty jokes. One kid finally had enough and told the principal. Let’s just say he’s not coming back.

Bruh if there’s no teacher in the classroom I would just leave 😂
