Get some 3lb coffee cans and cut BOTH ends off. Set the coffee can over the celery. The stalks needs about 4 weeks of no sun. This will give the celery a milder taste.

The chickens are just fine being raised the way they are. I’ve been raised in the city and I know that. If they weren’t happy they wouldn’t be laying eggs like they are and they would be losing feathers and egg shells wouldn’t be as pretty as they are. If you only have criticism comments go elsewhere. Justin and Rebecca are doing what works for them. I have learned so much from them and their YouTube community. They are human after all.

I love how you’re saying it has taken you 19 years.

Each year I get what my budget allows on starting seeds. Whenever that gets all used up, I get the solo cups. Do I love it? Not really. But it is what I can do and I’d rather grow more of my food and start it in a solo cup than to not grow it at all. And guess what?! I’m almost where I don’t have to do the solo cups anymore. I’m just content with what I can do and each year I’ll keep adding more. My trellis system works the same way. With a large family, I need a lot, but I add a little at a time. And by the end, it will be my happy place and look great!
