I've just lost a good 2 hours to researching different electric toothbrushes 🤣 Your website was so useful thanks so much, especially as you've researched country specific bits! (I'm in Australia).

I just spent an hour researching best value for money Oral-B toothbrush (in the US) and I love the fact that your video confirmed my findings within the first 10 seconds!

Thought I’d treat myself with the series 9. Then I saw the $580 price tag.

Regular dental checkups? Have you been to the UK recently?
If you can't afford to go private, finding an NHS dentist is a trial. Mine has just "moved on, " and I was informed by the practise, that I'd be best off finding an alternative dentist.
A friend of mine has been searching for one for 4 years!

One thing I feel is never really covered in toothbrush reviews is durability. I have the Oral-B Pro 2 2000, I've had it for a couple of years and I am absolutely convinced that the motor is not even close to how firm/tight it felt when it was new.
I understand that most of these mid to high tier brushes achieve mostly similar results and share the same technology, but I would really love to know if, for example, the iO series use better components and materials which make the vibration motor stand the test of time better. I feel like my Pro 2 2000 vibrates like a 20 quid battery toothbrush these days, or like it's perpetually low on battery when it isn't. It feels like it doesn't vibrate as fast or firmly, and like less of the vibration energy is transferring to the bristles, so it feels more like smushing the bristles around my teeth rather than feeling a micro scrubbing motion.

Thank you very much for your reviews of Oral B electric tooth brushes. I have been using older models for close to 30 years. Each lasted for about 10 years. With 4 different product lines, it became very difficult to compare them. The Oral B website pushes one towards their latest product line is when I had no desire to go for IoTs, thank you very much! Tomorrow I shall get one, Pro line. I do not want to exchange smses with my own toothbrush. Maybe for a beginner, for get their tooth brushing technique right it would be a good idea or for a nerd.
Once again, thank you for your channel.
I am from the land Down Under.

I spent hours online researching which electric toothbrush to buy and ended up here. Despite the bells and whistles of sophisticated AI, all I want is a model that does a great job removing plaque without hi-tech overkill. I don’t care about a wireless, bluetooth, app dependent toothbrush, and definitely don’t want Apple Health anywhere near the monitoring of my dental health progress.

Is the Oral B 1500 your recommendation or would you suggest I go even more basic to to 1000 or 500? I was trying to avoid the bad battery charging reviews with the latter two, which is why I thought the 1500 may be a winner.

I am stuck choosing between the Pro 3 3500 or the Genius X. I think I will go with the Pro 3 3500 as you recommended at it the end.

Hi! I'm divided between the Smart 4 and the Pro 3 3500. Couldn't find any direct comparison... Don't really care much about the price point on these 2 or the bluetooth features. I would just like to pick the best out of the 2... Thank you for your investement!

Pro 2 2500 is crap. The elastic plastic (around buton) goes off after some year of usage. I would recommend the 3500 (or 3000 which I guess is very similar)

Hi just clarifying which one you now recommend for people in Australia? Because in the IO7 video you recommended Pro 2 2000 but this video you say Pro 100

Thanks for the video. Please advise which toothbrush to choose Oral-B smart 7 or Oral-B IO6? I have a lot of fillings in my teeth, and I want a toothbrush that creates less extra vibration.

Thank you ... I love how concise you are! Problem choosing between iO 6, 7, 8. Can you explain the difference in effect beween 'Supersensitivity' and 'Gum Care' features in the iO series? I want an iO model that includes both 'supersensitive' and 'gum care'. Each time I decide on a Series like 6 or 7, one or the other feature of Supersensitive or gum care is missing! That leads me to the iO8 which has both but is way more expensive than I want to spend especially bec I'm not that interested in the digital apps. So if I have to choose one over the other which is more important for my teeth and gums ... having the 'Supersensitivity' or the 'Gum Care' component? Seems like their actions may be pretty similar.

I’m about to buy my first Oral-B and settled on the Smart 1500 ($79), but I noticed a sale today on the Smart 5000 ($59). But ultimately I want the superior product, not just the better sale. I’m having trouble finding side-by-side comparisons - which brush do I want?

But which ones have what motors? Do the Pro series have a brushless too? What difference is there between running on a 1.2v battery vs a 3.7v one? If there is one
