Literally the easiest and best bang tutorial I've been able to find... and she doesn't even actually cut them in the video!
I was really nervous to try the twisting method, so I started long... but it totally worked!!! Just inched up little by little until I got the length I wanted. Awesome technique!!

Asian girl here... I just tried this 10 minutes ago and wanted to come back and confirm that this method worked great for my hair type, too. The result looks so awesome. Not a good match for my face, unfortunately, which I didn't know until afterwards because I've never had bangs before. But even so, the bangs that I got using this method of cutting looked so nice, that when I wear it side swept style, it still looks wonderful and is actually a better fit for my face. So thanks.

Perfect tutorial! Thank you! I've been cutting my bangs for a few months and have always gotten irritated with the way the fall. Now that I learned to cut them in a triangle instead of straight across, they are gorgeous!

I've cut my own fringe a few times before and have never been 100% happy with the outcome, but I've just used this technique and it is PERFECT! So simple and it looks solo nice - even when you pull them to the side to make it side-swept!

Make you cut little by little, starting off longer and trimming where necessary rather than doing big chunks, but otherwise I couldn't recommend this technique any more!

Hi! I just want to thank you from the bottom of My Heart, for posting this video! Your tutorial was SO easy to follow and my bangs came out perfect within not even five minutes, compared to a half hour or longer just to get them even by cutting straight across! I'm never going back to doing it that way again! My hair and bangs in the front looks so pretty and full instead of thin and sparse! I have my friend who is kind enough to style my hair and she does a wonderful job, but when I just need my bangs cut and I don't want to bother her, I can now cut my bangs myself and get just as beautiful a job as she does!

I just cut my own bangs how this girl showed us. It took me over an hour to get it looking good and even. The technique was great but I am a bit of a perfectionist so I kept cutting and seeing if it was even.. The end result was pretty good for my first time. The video really helped me. I wanted to have bangs again but don't want to go to the hairdresser every 2 weeks for a trim. I'll see if I want to trim it or grow it out. I just more less wanted to see if I could do it myself hehe. And now I know that I can :D

I combined your technique with another person's video tips. I have really thick hair and need thick bangs to keep things full and balanced. Your tip for making the triangle section was IT for me! Cutting straight always left me with lots of see through areas in my bangs (bad for the really far back hairline one one side of my head) and they always looked so thin when I did them that way. But your way plus the twisting made my bangs real nice and thick. Plus I can push them to the side to cover that challenge area on my hairline. Added longer side fringe and everything blends nicely. Thank you very much!
