Let's face it ; even though Mal is the main character, all we wanted was our girl Uma to be truly happy, 'cause she had every right to be angry, she was selfless and had good intentions. I was so happy for her. After all, it was her idea to free the kids from the Isle, not Mal's. I truly think Uma ( along with Ben, Evie and I'm sure other ones ) is the most genuinely selfless and caring character . They have the best hearts .

On the one hand I am annoyed that even though it was actually Uma's plan to take down the barrier Mal will be the one to get all the credit for it. On the other hand, I'm glad that Uma's happy about it either way and instead of being bitter about not getting credit where credit is due, she is just happy that the barrier has been broken.

This is probably just me but every time I hear D1, D2, and D3 (even tho I know Destiny 3 isn’t out and there’s no plans for it) I think of the Destiny video game franchise. But I still like this Descendants. Awesome film
