Removing overgrown horns from ram

Показать описание
This young ram’s horns curled too far inward and as they thickened, they began to press into his cheeks. If allowed to continue it would adversely affect his ability to chew and could even cause infection in the cheek and jaw. This is a heritage wool breed sheep (Gulf Coast Native Sheep) and we keep our flock for their wool. Cutting these off where we did (just under the ears) will allow him to live many years in comfort. Thank a ton to Dr Daniels of Credence Veterinarian Clinic for taking on this challenge!

Why don't you use electric circular saw?

Did you cut into the corium? If so, did you anaesthetize the animal?
