I finally got lucky and yesterday at Bestbuy, I got a 3080ti 12 gig, Founders Editions.

This card is unreal and now, I can see why people say for gaming it makes no sense to buy the 3090. You might lose 2-3 frames or as much as 7, but it goes backwards and forward with the 3080ti taking the lead sometimes.

I'm beyond happy. If I'm not gaming or doing intense editing, the front fan on the card doesn't even come on, especially if I'm just browsing the web.

ASUS (tech team) : just put a bigger cooler (+$30 cost) and you can justify much higher prices.
ASUS (marketing) (2021): yeah, but shipping costs will increase, especially by airplane (bigger heatsink => bigger box)
ASUS (tech team) : don't worry, you'll add that, too, as an other reason to increase prices (besides TARIFS, etc...)

The cheapest 3060ti in my country is from asus but it is still $570, i hope it come down to $500

In the uk the price as crashed all ready in 15 mins i found a 6600xt for £380 a 3060ti for £499 a 6700xt for £539 a 3070 for £599 a 3070ti for £689 a 3080 for £899 and a 6800xt for £799 and all these were in stock at this rate they will all be at msrp in 2 weeks in the uk.
