Tips to control the frizzy hair during humid condition By Dr Rashmi Shetty
Показать описание
Is your hair your humido-meter 😜
As soon as it gets humid around me (like it is now during monsoons!! 🌧), my hair gets super frizzy 😡.
Tips to control the frizz ⚡️
- oil your hair
Yes!! Good old champi.
Use hydrating / moisturising oils like argan oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil.
Remember, do not be aggressive with your champi - super gentle massage only.
- do not over shampoo your hair
Most people use too much shampoo that dries out your hair. You should use small quantities of shampoo, dilute it, and only use it on your scalp.
Even for those who are choosing to oil their hair - do not try to over shampoo in order to get the oil off.
- leave in your conditioner for longer than usual
First the basics : only condition the ends of your hair. NOT your scalp.
Once you take care of this , you can play around with the time. The days you can , and have the time, leave in the conditioner - tie up your hair, get out of the shower , and complete some chores or read a book and relax or have your breakfast. Leave the conditioner in for 30 minutes or so and then wash it off with cool water. Avoid over washing the hair post conditioner. A quick rinse to get the conditioner off is all you need.
- use soft, micro fibre or bamboo towels while drying your hair.
- allow your hair to naturally dry, maybe even use some anti frizz serum. If you have to use a dryer, use cool air NOT hot. Try drying out only the scalp with the hair dryer.
- supplements like RA skin hydrate and primerose+ can help give your hair hydration from within.
