Hi everyone, working from home and hooked up with the BBC One broadcast as live to bring you this, and so the padding beforehand to make sure you didn't miss a thing. Have trimmed the video now, so the trails will come off soon. :)

This is the first time I’ve actually heard the Queens voice.

When she said "we'll meet again" she's referring to this generation babies who will see her again in 50 years for her next speech.

Edit: RIP Queen.

Basically she said, “Look, I survived the Blitz during WWII, we got this.”

I had to come back and listen to this today. These words meant so much to me. My own leaders were a bit too self involved to remind us of who we could be. The Queen reminded this American nurse of her duty and the strengths he came from

I know the Queen is also a human being, but I still can't believe she's gone. Known by people of all nations, ages, ethnicities and cultures around the world, she was perhaps the most famous person in human history. No other legend will ever come close to her with her grace, her kindness and her compassion. My condolences to her from Japan.

To think that this lady was crowned almost 70 years ago is insane

Enough to make a man cry after hearing the news about her passing. She was truly an amazing figure who led her country through many hard times and will be missed.

As an American, and as someone who's lost family to covid, the Queen's words here meant so much to me.

The most powerful words I heard in the time of covid was "We will meet again." True leader is a person who encourage and embrace people in difficulty. And she was the one. A true Queen of the world. Respect from Japan.

Of all her speeches, this is the one I will never forget. It was the one light provided on the horizon as the rest of the world descended into bickering, finger-pointing, and conspiracy theories. This speech made me cry then, and it still gets me a little bit. As an American, I will miss her so much.
