Today, I came across this song in a radio programme. As soon as I heard this song, it brought me to my high school years (2006). In that year, BABAM ve OĞLUM was on display. That film tells a story between a father and a son. Still, it is the most sensational film that I have ever watched. The father brings his little son to the grandfather, and then he dies... Every person undoubtedly can be affected by this film and this story, but people who lost their fathers at an early age, like the son in the movie, will be affected more than anyone else. My brother and I will be at preschool, although we are over 30. We now have sons and wish to live with them as long as possible. This song is one of the songs in the film, and today, I went back to those days.

Every time I listen to Evanthia I feel there is something composed for me.. When I am drunk taking my nightly risky walks in gigantic Istanbul, I would listen to Evanthia.. Nothing could reflect feelings of losses and departure for oriental exiled people in smooth meaningful way like Evanthia.. There is some music composed for me by someone I don't know, there is some fragile hope left, for me I will meet somebody again, I will meet myself somewhere again...

Evanthia Reboutsika ~ We Will Meet Again
Music from movie "My father and my son" /Babam ve Oğlum/ 2005Evanthia Reboutsika was born November 6, 1958 and raised in Kato Achaia, Patras along with her brother Ploutarchos and her sisters Maria and Ioanna. Their father was the owner of a cinema hall. Evanthia started studying the violin at the age of 6 at the Conservatory of Patras. Soon the three sisters and their brother form a string quartet and tour through out Greece and abroad. In 1970Evanthia moved to Athens where she finished her studies at the Conservatory of Athens and at the Hellenic Conservatory under the supervision of some of the finest tutors in Greece.
