Nice guide. I'd also suggest around nightmare if you've found any necro heads with bone spear or corpse explosion. Have Larzuk socket it and make a rhyme, or if you don't mind running NM countess for a while a slightly more offensive option is to make a splendor. Rhyme will give you some block and all res plus cannot be frozen and some MF to boot. All really good stats for only a shael rune. Even if you don't put anything to dexterity having some extra block can't hurt. If you spend the time to get splendor you can potentially get another +4 to bone spear if it had +3 as a mod, +1 skills plus some extra FCR and some energy and also has MF.

Also, to boost your Corpse Explosion - you can use Amplify Damage. It will double all the psysical damage of each explosion. One of my favorite builds is explosion necro, with maxed Corpse Explosion and Amplify Damage and a little bit in Prison and Bone Spear (to create first corpses). You will clean 95% of screen with only few explosions, it's a lot of fun :)
