Thank you for making this so accessible. I’ve been playing video games my whole life, and I’ve always struggled with learning how to make a proper build in games like this. I don’t have a numbers-brain and really struggle with understanding stats (how to identify what needs to be improved and what to choose over something else), so the way you explained things in this is so helpful.

Would you consider doing a follow up video to this where you walk through how you choose which stats to level up when a little more? Like, “I need to level up, so I’m going to choose to dump points in [___] because [___]?” I’ve heard in a few videos what all the stats do individually, and it would seem like a pretty straightforward process, but I still get confused about what to choose…like if I’m struggling, when do I decide to invest in my damage stat, and when do I invest in health, FP or stamina? How do I learn to understand balance in games like this and know what to level and when?

I hope that makes sense - I feel pretty stupid and self conscious, so I’m sorry if this has already been explained and I’m still just not getting it. I really want to learn because I love this game and others like it, it just seems like I can’t build a proper character and understand what I’m doing and why. In short, I’m REAL BAD.

Edit: I guess what I’m needing is to have someone walk me through building their character and explaining why they’re making the choices they are, so that I can understand the reasoning and have examples in context, rather than just explaining what stats do as a concept.

Sorry it took me so long to get to a clearer point, and for the novel.

This was great! I’m an Xbox user and I criminally overplay Skyrim and Fallout4. Bandai is a whole new world to me; and this helped me a lot. I really liked how focused you were on the actual tips, and your video matched perfectly. The game doesn’t make everything clear; so I was second guessing myself about how to mechanically level up.
