Unless you are on a designated expressway (like Mumbai-Pune or Samruddhi Mahamarg), an avg speed of 60kph is quite fast

Anyway the fuel economy at this speeds is not that impressive. It’s not as heavy as a fortuner and fortuner gives 10plus at this 60/70 avg speed (highway plus city). I owned one, a 3 litre auto and my friends still own one.

In no way I am trying to shame Thar, we all had huge expectations of the RWD.. being a family car, the 2.2 litre RWD should have been tuned accordingly I feel, to give something near 14/15..

But some vehicle are like this. In their form factor they sell like hot cakes.. Thar is an emotion of the youth now !!
