One of the best foreign policy speeches I've heard.

A young America military soldier said it best "You send me overseas to a foreign country where I don't speak the language, don't look like the people, don't know the religion, culture, economy or local dynamics but expect me to understand these things to their DNA in the town I'm deployed to in order to win their hearts and minds and yet I don't fully understand these sames things even in my own hometown back in the USA.

Why dont you "constitutionalists" ever being up Article 1 Section 8 which states that Congress can only support an army for TWO years?!

What about the VA and WV and many other state constitutions that say explicitly that standing armies are dangerous to liberty and shall be avoided and that all authority over the military shall reside in the peiple alone?!

John Mearsheimer knows who Francis Yoshihiro Fukuyama was. Francis Yoshihiro Fukuyama was confused man. He was neoliberal = democratic socialism in disguise of neoconservative as the most of Japanese Americans were and are as they have lost their identities during and after WWII, being confused by Japanese culture (traditional = conservative) and Japanese free thinking mind (very liberal mind with conservative traditional base). Francis Yoshihiro Fukuyama is one of the most disliked scholars or experts from the US by Japanese in Japan because Japanese know he is delusional. John Mearsheimer is one of the trusted scholars or experts from the US by Japanese in Japan.

Many countries which joined the so called “west” liberalism has been dominant in the context of labeling Germany, Italy and Japan was right wing nationalistic states by demonizing nationalism but the truth about Germany and Italy was that they were socialism and Japan was democracy. That type of labeling was intentionally made by the US democrats to hide the truth that the US was fighting against the same ideology the US democrats and people behind it had. Today nationalism is growing as they call them patriotism.

Ain't it funny how he forgot to mention conquering the Native Americans⁉️

The native Americans were not peacefull treehuggers, i'd rather be conquered by a people that abolish slavery rather then like the Mayas human sacrifice of conquered peoples, prisoners etc.
