Strangely enough, the most handsome men I knew were the least concerned about beauty in a mate. Two very handsome men I dated both settled on plain, slightly overweight women to marry. Both are also nice, intelligent men, wives are nice, and intelligent women too. So maybe handsome men are weary of shallowness from people, and want something with more depth like you said. The plain guys I dated seemed more concerned about beauty in a woman. Go figure.

I married a very rich man and all my friends gone. But I have been with my husband about 20 good years and then I have some many friends then. Once I we got married, they were all bitter. Well as know that, I didn't care about them. If you can't be happy for me, then you are not a good friend. I am still married to the same man and thank God. Fake friends bye.

I've worked in finance and dealt with a lot of wealthy clients. In almost every case I've encountered where the woman is less physically attractive than her male partner, her mind more than makes up for it. These men are not insecure. They want a woman who is sharp and intelligent and is not there to take his money because she is out there making her own bank. These women are in finance, enterpreneurs, attorneys, surgeons, executives, i.e. high power individuals.

It's been my observation that my very good looking friends have struggled to find a stable man. I've had men say to me they wouldn't dare ask my friend out, because she is too good for him. I'm engaged to a quality man and I've always seen myself as plain and nothing special but he told me that he chose me because I can make him laugh, I take care of him, and he loves that I'm kind to animals. He says I'm a combination of Audrey Hepburn and Angelina Jolie 🥰🥰🥰 And I don't feel so plain anymore.
