In the Wonder Woman movie, Steve says to Diana, right before she goes into battle against the Germans, "This is no man's land", and everybody in the audience hears this line in their heads. It is a tribute to Eowyn that Diana doesn't say it; she doesn't have to. Eowyn was there first.

This scene always bothered me because she has no reason to believe she could harm him yet she responded with confidence "I am no man" as if she knew she was about to kill him.

The fact that he happened to be vulnerable was a true miracle. What would have really happened after she said her action movie one-liner and stabbed him?

I think he'd laugh it off, crush her, then be like: "Did she really think that was going to work...?"
