Mitas E07+ Enduro Trail Tyres - 1000 Mile Review

Having fitted my 2019 Honda CB500X with Mitas E-07+ Enduro Trail tyres, about six weeks earlier, I found myself completing a 1000 miles whilst on a camping trip to Shropshire.

A 60/40 (road/trail) dual sport tyre from Mitas was chosen for its apparent good road and trail manners, also being competitively priced.

I’ve decided to record the wear, along with my ongoing thoughts, throughout the life of the tyres and will do so every 1000 miles which at the end should provide a useful overview.

This videos will provide a brief assessment of tyre wear and how they are performing and hope this will be useful to those looking at buying the Mitas E-07+ tyres and specifically fitted to the Honda CB500X

My new ride came with michelin tracker tyres which was quite an experience on the road, I think I will be going something a little more road worthy as they can be quite sketchy. Saying that, on the trails they are amazing!

Great quick review. I don’t know this brand but my experience with this type of tire wasn’t always good due to noise. If you say they have just a slight rumble, it should be a reasonable trade off. Yes the engine vibrations are the Cb500x culprit in my view. Spoiler: can’t wait for the suspension upgrade!… take care

Good update on the tyres Andrew👌they do look hardwearing🤔 I've just bought a set of Tkc80 Twinduro's to put on my 2020 cb500x in the coming weeks, so I'll probably do some similar updates every 1000 miles on my Instagram page🙂 any more info on what you are doing regarding suspension🤔😉

Thanks for the update, I have been looking at these for mine and it's good to have a bit of first hand experience. Re the revs and vibes are you running the standard 15t front sprocket or have you swapped to the 16t ?
