You can perform Live with Ableton with midi instruments, DJ, and link laptops for performance or when making beats. That’s why Ableton is better. Those open a world of options. The things you mentioned are just aesthetics

I could list so many things why ableton is better. Im actually using fl and ableton :-)

The thing I like about FL Studio is you can go fully stock. It's Synths and Instruments are way above average and it's effects parameters are advanced but also innovative. Ableton should consider coming out with a hybrid synth.

I think these two DAW don’t need to make compare, cuz each one has their own workflow, some guys like FL, and some like Ableton, but fr Ableton is more unfriendly to beginners, its ui isn’t as intuitive as FL

I’ve used both and both are good it really depends on what you are trying to cook up but I’d prefer fl studio and it’s more user friendly and great for beginners and you can still create a professional industry quality sound

As always, personal preference. I used FL back in the late 90’s. It was horrible then to me, as it is now.
In saying that, I’ve heard some awesome music pump outa FL. So it’s always down to what program you find more user friendly to yourself.
I’ve been an Ableton user from the early 2000’s and at the start I hated it, was like relearning the gat😂 But now I find it alot more user friendly. Our studio guy uses Pro Tools and gard dayam, talk about Dinosaurs😅

FL has the best piano roll out of any DAW but that’s literally it imo. The whole workflow and design is a nightmare to me, but that’s to me. It’s all about preference and how you use the software
