80k for a gasser and now it is a stripped down Lariat. No thanks Ford. Will just wait on RAM to cut prices by 35% and then go in that direction

Ford has lost me as a long time customer with these 2025 changes. I have 3 ford trucks in my driveway and have always bought Ford. I’m currently shopping for a dually and with the changes to the Lariat for 2025 along with jacking the price up over $3, 000 they can keep their truck. The other manufacturers prices are also insane but they didn’t do what Ford did in 2025. I’m only one person but at some point you have to say enough is enough.

Bro they aren't saving money by leaving off previous standard equipment and charging $1000 for the 7.3. They are making Bank! If one fourth of the super duties sold, say 200, 000 or so, have the 7.3 as an upcharge they are making an additional $200 million! Not to mention all the other things they are leaving off and charging the same or more.

My 2013 xlt has tilt head rests and door keypad. Typical accountants at ford dropping features but charging more. These prices are out of control. 10k price difference between a 2022 and 2025 lariat optioned the same

This is light years up from my 2016 f150 Lariat with the max tow package. I ordered a 2025 F350 Lariat with the Tremor package 7.3 gas engine and 4.3 axle ratio 4x4 6.4 bed Crew cab. This is the beast that will haul my 8800 lb travel trailer round the country.

Plastic. It's plastic. There's no such thing as "vegan leather". It's just plastic. They are upselling cheap vinyl seats as premium.

Less clutter and more motor is a yes to me

You are getting your vinyl seats on your 81k F350 Lariat gasser without a sunroof to make up for the 50-60k electric vehicle losses per vehicle. This is what happens when the CEO of a company is woke!

The mud flaps and rear wheel liners is a useful, but often overlooked option. Wheel flaps can really cut down rocker panel paint chips and road tar splatters. The rear wheel liners dress up the this location and reduce the amount of crevices to hold/contain dirt, mud, road salt, and snow.

Wow, charging an additional 1k for the 7.3 in the lariat. The price overall is too high for what it is.

I am glad that I buy the 2024 ford f350 limited glacier gray colored for last year having a limited I know it pricy but totally worth it. And all those change for 2025 for ford it just crazy that they over charge now and some of the stuff already been taking away example back up camera on the tail gate.

Owned many ford trucks and cars for the last 25 years and I am done with them. I have a 2022 Limited F-350 that I’ll keep forever hopefully. Interior is crap on it, but hoping mechanically it is solid. The new Fords are ugly. And I love how they charge more for black appearance. I guarantee it is cheaper to make the black appearance versus chrome or matched to the vehicle color. And whoever approved that wheel designed needs to retire and head to the optometrist.

I'm still baffled at the decision that Ford has made on decontenting the Lariat, a very popular trim of the SD. No more power steering column, leather, and having to pay additional for the 7.3 yet not reducing the price of the overall trim is a huge money grab for them. They likely figured the avg consumer won't miss or care, but these are massive purchases, so I hope buyers are aware. I would probably go ahead with a Platinum too, considering the upgrade in interior, more standard equipment, better exterior lighting(projector LED headlamps w/steering, and full LED taillamps), and likely better resale. Ford is giving serious cash off on these trucks now.

$80k and you end up with a gas truck, fake leather, and no sunroof. Absolutely outrageous. This cab and frame are basically identical to the 2017 Super Duty, just with some changes to the styling and a new interior. In 2017 you could have a Lariat Ultimate crew cab with a Powerstroke, full 100% LED lighting all around, a panoramic sunroof, power tilt-telescope steering column…for $70k. This truck offers only a couple of features not available back then such as the Pro Power, the all digital dash, the larger infotainment screen, but nothing of real substance. Prices are way out of hand.

This is crazy. About a month ago I got a ‘24 F350 Lariat (7.3L) with a sunroof and the sticker was $72k. I can’t believe that this truck is $8k more and doesn’t have a sunroof.

Heated steering wheel is standard for all 2024 “base” Lariats. Can’t speak on 2025 changes though.

The transmission is also no longer the 10R140 it is the 100 now. Only gas model with the 140 is the tremor

It called de contenting and raising the price because they have lost so much money on EV’s

Hey Jb, I ordered my 2022 xl with the 7.3 and 4.30 gears for max towing when I started my dumpster business, and can tell you with that gear ratio if you are driving in normal mode, " not towing " the 10r140 does not use all the gears. From 1st gear jumps to 3rd, and from 3rd to 5th gear, then the rest of the gears. I bought the same truck in a 2024 model with 3.73 rear end and it does use all the gears in normal mode. With the 4.30 gears if I'm doing 70 mph it runs at 2k rpms, and with the 3.73 at 70mph it runs at 1500 rpms. I saved my self 10k by not ordering a 2025 and buying the same truck 2024 model off the lot in November. These prices are crazy! $58k out the door for an Xl stx, fx4 with the 8ft bed. The 2025 model was $68k plus taxes and fees.

I have a 2023 Lariat with the 7.3 non Ultimate. I am surprised how much they have removed off the Lariat for 2025. Here are a few other differences I noticed:

Black appearance grill is now just the sport appearance grill with the headlight surround painted.

Running boards on black appearance are different, and look like the same on the F150

My front seat lower shrouds have a chrome inlay trim for a nice touch, the 2025 is just black plastic

Mine is a Lariat Sport and the mirror caps are body color (Carbonized Gray)

The console door on mine is gray wood pattern like the door trim, not just a darker color.

Door keypad in not included, mine is integrated in the door pillar

Mine has the memory seats, pedals and steering column, odd that the Lariat does not have the electric adjustable steering wheel.
