I don't think enough can be said about the G3's 5-yr extended warranty. I was one of the unlucky few who purchased the S95B last year that had a total device failure after only a few months. My S95B was irreparable (after many failed attempts by Samsung techs to fix it) and it took months to work through the warranty and reimbursement process at Samsung. I'm sure it'd still be painful to go through a similar process at LG, but following that months long fiasco, I've decided to give LG a go. The added piece of mind that LG will cover any critical defects for the next 5yrs on the G3 display is HUGE!

Why are you comparing last year's Samsung S95B instead of this year's S95C? Viewing the S95C recently at a local Best Buy the picture looked far superior to what you're showing with that Samsung...Much more vivid and contrasty in fact...Awful and unrealistic showing of Samsung's flagship from last year?? 🤔
