My question is will the bring Dolby Vision to Samsung or at least a chance?

This death of MiniLED. Explain how that would be the case when Samsung in 2022 sold more miniLED than they ever did in previous years? 9.65 Million units. That is far more than buying 2 million LG OLED panels. You even mentioned that sales for LG OLED had gone down 17%. So again. How does that work out with Samsung having increase in sales?

I don't think MiniLED is going away until it's either replaced by MicroLED or QNED (Samsungs real nanorod, not the LG brand that has nothing to do with actual QNED).
OLED has it's drawbacks that tons of consumers simply aren't buying into. Easy for someone that keeps a TV 2 years to think OLED will take over everything.

I have an A95K and I don't have any desire to upgrade, BUT, 83 inch with MLA sounds very tempting... 83 inch is big enough that it's more like a theater experience but with way better picture quality... I want to wait to see what phosphorescent blue brings to the table though

Frankly I'm surprised it took this long. Too bad I won't be looking for another tv for a while. My S95b is living life as my pc gaming monitor and my 77'' A80J is living as my tv\movie. And I still have a LG C1 on standby if my s95b goes south... or my LG CX. My qn90a is my non gaming pc monitor lol. After you go 55'' pc monitor you just can't go back . I may have a problem with acquiring tv's.

Let’s hope so. Love my 83C1. No point updating it this year if no MLA. Wish LG would make an affordable slightly bigger panel soon.

According to Reuters, Samsung has signed a deal with LG to buy high-quality white OLED (WOLED) panels for TVs. LG may start supplying OLED panels as early as this quarter

Reportedly, Samsung's plan is for LG Display to supply 2 million OLED panels next year, then 3 million and 5 million respectively in 2025 and 2026. At least initially, the company is said to be working on 77-inch and 83-inch displays. Type WOLED for Samsung

This is an unexpected partnership that may actually make a lot of sense for both sides. Samsung can use the screens to help it carve out a foothold in the OLED TV market. The company has taken the approach that OLED screens fit...

Sales dropped by 17%? Here I thought with all the talk of OLED taking over that it would do so well. The MiniLED for Samsung has increased in sales by a large factor.
So why isn't the OLED picking up? Is it the QD OLED that took sales away?

Hey Fomo! Random question but any thoughts on the LG class B2 series OLED in regards to gaming on newer consoles? Love your videos!

More push for cheaper and varied OLED sizes and expanding to non-TV markets as well.

I don't expect Samsung Electronics to only sell 77 and 83" W-Oled panels next year. My reasoning is that LG Display is rumored to be supplying them 2 million panels at first. To put this into perspective LG Electronics sold 2.04 million oled tvs in 2020. This is with a full range of oled tvs. The B, C, G and Z oled lines. If Samsung intends to sell 2 million panels and they only consist of 77 and 83" panels then we will probably see brand new Samsung 77" and 83" oled tvs competing against the C3/G3 77 and 83". MSRP will need to be lower than C3 and G3 on sale/close out prices next year.

Whoa there. The S90B ended up selling at a similar price to the C2. The S95C and LG G3 are starting off at similar prices. I don't think you need to be a LG loyalist to think more television purists would prefer a 83" MLA implemented by LG over Samsung. Now Samsung can sell a LCD television for a lot more than TCL, Hisense and Vizio but I see no evidence they can command higher prices over comparable LG OLED televisions. What I think is more likely is Samsung trying to undercut LG with lower priced conventional WOLED televisions. What say you FOMO?

Wonder what'll be the difference in terms of picture quality between S95C & next year model. S95C is a good upgrade over the S95B

Right now the top 83" OLEDS are the Sony A90J and the LG G3.
