If that Zeus comes out and it no longer has a window I'll fight everyone in ship development.

Dec 27 will be ten years for me. I've never been more enthusiastic to be a part of a journey in gaming. Enjoying it all. I'm built for the journey, the destination, the experience and the legacy. Yes!

CIG should have John Crewe voice a slightly disgruntled saleman at one of the in-game ship dealers.

been backing for 8 years in december and it's insane how they have come, I do just wish I could hear more about orion, or even just drone progress because that tech is crucial for quite a few ships.

Thank you guys for informing us the reality of what's happening with the BMM. Honesty goes a long way. We understand when things happen.

Will soon be a 6-year supporter. So glad I took the time and money to go to Citzencon. It was a really great show!!

31:35 I think the new team will start the development of the BMM from scratch. Maybe take some information from the current state, of course, like the new weapons, its hangar for the Defender, its medbay and whatever else came, but it still looks like the current BMM will end up in the trash. It's a pity for the lost time, but that's how it is sometimes when not enough precautions have been taken to avoid exactly that. I'm still very grateful to CIG for talking as openly as possible here. But you could tell that they didn't want to say the most obvious thing, and that is that it will start all over again.
Still, it was a very great CitCon and even though as a BMM owner I am saddened by their situation, all the other information has me so hyped that I can patiently sit this one out too.
Thank you CIG for the great work and thank you Chris Roberts for giving us the opportunity to be a part of this incredible journey.

I remember the days when I added The Polaris to my fleet(only had a Titan at the time) because it used to be the only ship that had a Internal light craft hanger that wasn't a carrier. Im so exited to finally get my hands on it. 🙂

I wonder if the Constellations will get a rework, while they're working on RSI.

I know there's ships, power armor and most likely ground vehicles, but I also hope there's a plan for mechs on the back burner. Seems like the only tech that's missing from this sci-fi universe. This is absolutely amazing.

One day I'll park my Merchantman besides my Endeavor. And then I'll probably cry for about half an hour. Welcome back in my life, Star Citizen, this was quite the CitizenCon. ;)

It was nice to see the released, not released, and 2023 ship counts. I'm curious how they are factoring getting released ships to "gold-standard"

ES:
-Comes with Radar
-Comes with extra shield

MR:
-Comes with EMP and quantum dampener
-Comes with second gun turret

CL:
-Comes with lots of cargo space
-Comes with tractor beam
-Might come with extra Armor (kind of makes it sound like that during the show)

I think if you had all three, you could do it all in the game. Oh and your Mirai won't fit in this one boys, it is a very streamlined ship so there is not much height.

The Banu merchantman looks to be 80% done. At that rate it would make more sense to just finish it than to throw it on a shelf until the team gets around to making AI NPC merchants or whatever. Look what happed to the Hull C, that ship was done since 2017 and waited for 6 long years just for the team to get around to design physicalized cargo and persistence. The ship came out and is already dated looking since nothing was changed in those 6 years asides turret placements.

This constant back and forth game is a massive time killer for the development of star citizen. Instead of the ship team finishing up another 4 months of work on the BMM and adding it to the PU their time is now spent on making the Polaris... I get it i want both ships in the PU ASAP, but finish what you start. If you realize halfway into making something you dont need it atm, then you're not planning accordingly and are just winging it hoping for the best.

I get that the zeus will look much better than it is for now with the new systems. But nothing can undo the amount of cargo it can carry compared to the LARGER c1. There has to be some kind of change to the c1 to make it worth anything. Maybe turn it into a smuggler? It would certainly fit the crusader theme

I really hope the Esperia Blade stays in the game, as a nice side-piece to the "Proper" Vanduul Blade.

I really like the Esperia model more than the actual Vanuul one.

I bet my Titan is pretty old too. It even looks similar to a Zeus. Someday I will get one. This looks like a great explorer ship. And I'm going to be an explorer.

Glad to see them working on the big ships and not trying to shape narrative. Oh wait.
