I watched your whole video from beginning to end. My grandson is turning 4 years old and has speech delay. He knows the alphabet, numbers and shapes. He’s even good in dancing and singing too but couldn’t talk yet. With your videos I’m pretty sure he has no autism but just speech delay. The main reason why he’s not talking is because of too much used of cellphone and watching television. Thank you for this very informative video.

This is very good video. Not all signs are autism. My sisters son ( now 9 years old) didn’t want to look or turn his head when she call him. He also had some other signs of autism, didn’t talk till 4-5 years old, social skills were zero, didn’t like other kids nor to play with them. In kindergarten he was always isolated, didn’t want to cooperate in any kind of cooperation. Now he is 3d grade he has very good grades.
He’s Problem was speech delay, and speech delays were mostly because of TV, Tablets and cellphones
He couldn’t express himself because of that he was ashamed and refused to talk or to play with another kids. Not every sign is autism

This video is GREAT! Thank you so much for making this accessible to parents and the general public. You basically just made sense of the countless hours I’ve researched on Google for info about my kiddo’s delays. ♥️

This is so true, a mom I know has a son same age to my daughter. They are 28 month now, her son hasn't been speaking anything till this day. Because the well check up doctor at her place is not very reliable. I've been suggesting her to get him checked by professions since 18 month when I saw some red flag and repetition behavior. She dimiss everyone's suggestion and believes her son is just "behind". Maybe she is right, but it doesn't hurt anyone to have a kid evaluated.

Really the best explained one on YouTube. I have seen many but none as detailed as this one. My child has meltdowns for very silly things sometimes n hard to explain. He cries n do many tantrums with mom only

I have never heard so much truth about autism and the hard way it is diagnosed in my life. Amazing information, obviously gathered thru experience!

Thank you so much. It hurts me so much and my heart is broken. Im crying while watching this video. As I listen to you, the more I’m seeing my son. He is not evaluated yet but I already informed my son’s pediatrician of my concerns. My son will be evaluated in 1-2 months from his 1st birthday. However, I’m hopeful and optimistic that early intervention will help.

Thank you so much for this enlightening video especially for those of us who live in societies were there’s little or no autism awareness, my baby is presently 17 months and she has a few of d atypical behavior u described like stiffing or tensing when shes angry at times, she has this love for playing with things that has lids for instance a bottle or cup she’ll try to open and close d cap severally for few minutes then move on to something else then come back to it after a while and throwing things on d floor and placing them back, she has the language jargon and does it a lot several, she doesn’t respond to me calling her name when engrossed in play and ignores totally no matter how many times I call her name but responds to others especially strangers calling her name immediately, but when I say things like please “please give mummy a kiss” she might blow me a kiss without turning to look at me, she hums also but not everyday, the thing is she has a few words like bye bye and water every other thing is dada although she might point while calling it dada, she started pointing at around 16 months and at a time will point at everything and everyone especially when she sees a cat or a dog she points and screams to get my attention, she seems to understand some basic instructions like give me, feed me, clap for yourself and bring my hello( phone), she imitates at times like trying to wear my shoes, using my comb to come her hair and sipping from a cup, she may look functionally at d water dispenser when I say water but the issue is of late she has stopped interacting with me as she used to and prefers playing alone although she still waves bye bye and rarely points to communicate except when I insist by pointing then she copies my gesture, she also showing more of that emotional signs she gets angry at every slightest thing and it’s a lot more difficult to get her to calm down with using the tv or phone but have been told not to worry and observe her better, non the less I found this video very informative and extremely helpful, thanks once more

Before i watched this, i was searching the websites, reading the signs of autism, and i was like " oh my baby does the same thing is she autistic? She doesnt point so she may be autistic. She can do that or can not do that." I was so worried i couldnt sleep for days. And then i watched this and realized that those individual signs dont tell you anything. This video gave me a general idea on how to read my baby girl. I now am pretty sure that she only has language delay. Thank you very much for this. I couldnt find this whole information elsewhere. God bless you...

So happy to have found such an informative video. I have been looking on Google for days about what it means when a child squeezes and shakes and haven't been able to find anything. He's not squeezing as such, he's tensing and shaking with excitement exactly how you explained it.
