I miss that aspect of my old Jag XJS. Like driving around in rocket powered old library. Just divine on the open road. All wood and leather. What I don't miss is the fuel costs and it slowly falling apart; something broke every week. What's that smell? Oh that's just the hole in the fuel tank, right next to the battery. Why doesn't the radio work

Acceleration of the XJS V12 6.0 (MJ 1993 on) is the same in gear 1 and 2, and from 130 km/h to 200 km/h better due to existing third gear that reaches only 200 km/h and not top speed. The MJ 1993 XJS V12 has a 4 speed gearbox with converter lockup clutch... .

Very underpowered for 12 cylinders have a 455ci V8 in 1973 pontiac grand am with a 4 speed manual would blow the doors off this jaguar
