I been a Raiders fan since the late 6o's Telesco remine me of the young Al Davis knows who to draft and sign great players. AP will be having the Raiders rocking against the Panthers. Getsey will get the run game going perfect game to run with White get him going for the season.

You gotta give it to Tom. He could have drafted for "need" and went with a Corner or whatever other positions they were looking at, but, he went with his gut and drafted the BPA, who is already making a record breaking impact on this team through two games. Great work, Mr. T!

Super-congrats to you/Tom & the entire Raider organization for your road victory in Baltimore! Maxx Crosby is the supreme leader of our Defense, & in my view a precious franchise player for the team. As a boy who attended Oakland Coliseum home games with my dad from 1968-1981. I observed the GM Al Davis & Coach John Madden (himself a former O lineman) consistently focused upon assembling & maintaining the most dominant & rugged/reliable O line core to constantly control the line of scrimmage & to impose an unstoppable running game, which then enhanced their explosive play action passing attack. The Raiders Offense dramatically succeeded during this era of nearly 20 years by chiefly crafting & maintaining superior all-pro O linemen, tight ends, & excellent QBs.

Said it at the time, Bowers is gonna be the best TE in league and was glad we picked best player available instead of reaching for a need. Picking the best player always seems to work out in the end.
