I love it! Why not? To see tour pros take on a simulator should be interesting and while you say golf belongs in nature, the reality of it is that those of us who live in the Upper Midwest are forced to play indoors, on simulators, from now until mid-to-late April. Something interesting to watch on a weeknight in January when I'm done shoveling a foot of snow from my driveway so that my wife can get into the garage after work....I'm all for it!

First of all, I am not a young person… I'm 39 and I'm going to be 40 this year. But I have always struggled to enjoy watching any PGA events on television. However, I love Tiger Woods and I love Rory. YouTube golf is great and I watch it all the time. But now that the TGL is happening, It's going to condense the game of golf with the greatest players on earth and I'm all for it. Of course I am going to watch the TGL.

I honestly think this will be a shocker in 1 of 2 ways: either it’s going to be executed really well and be surprisingly entertaining… or it’s going to face plant hard. So basically either way, this thing could be entertaining 😂

If the PGA wanted to bring in the YouTube audience it would be easy. Example. In a smaller event invite Garrett, Luke, Grant, and Micah. Pair them up, and actually show more than a few of their shots. Maybe even show a separate leaderboard that follows that sub plot.

In Australia you can only watch ESPN on either Foxtel or Kayo Sports, both incur a large monthly fee, i like Youtube because i get the music as well as watch my favourite Youtubers play golf, ie Bob does Sport, Bryan Bros, Good Good, GM golf etc, more bang for your buck at a quarter of the price, i won't be watching.

If it's meant to draw in YouTube watchers, then put it on YouTube. YouTube is convenient as I can watch a video anytime, not scheduled.

This doesn't interest me as I don't relate to a team. I would be more interested if there were teams representing a geographic area. For instance, there could be Canada East and Canada West teams, a team from Mexico, teams from Western and Eastern Europe, one or two Asian teams, four US teams from northeast, northwest, southwest, and southeast, etc., or something like that. Then I would follow the Canada East team out of interest.

You do realize Thr Atlanta falcons football team all the players aren’t from Georgia right! So yeah it’s basically same thing with these teams. I personally see this lasting.

Yeah, but just look at this week with the PGA. They have Wesley and Goerge Bryant on there. He birdies the first two holes and you don’t even see anything on them but they’re promoting them on YouTube but don’t show them an actual broadcast doesn’t make any sense. I think the biggest problem with the PGA is the PGA right now.

I would rather go to Top Golf and see real entertainment by real people vs watching PGA Tour Pros on another format. youtube golf channels are enjoyable as they are.

Honestly all the personalities are on LIV. I just started to dislike Rory with how he's acting towards LIV. Definitely has his own agendas as his priorities more than anything else.

I bet to differ, I would watch pga if the tv would cover a YouTube golfer in a pga tournament..

I’m watching the Bermuda championship cause the Bryan bros are playing. Otherwise, I wouldn’t watch. I’d absolutely watch a pga event if ur were competing..
if pga had a tv deal with YouTube they’d get more viewers, easy.

If the pga tour is going after the tiktok generation, the matchs needs to be less then 20 seconds, the attention span is no more then that. What an epic fail.

I watch golf YouTubers because of the convenience. I don't have ESPN and I will not get it to watch millionaires play. I'm more interested in watching YouTubers play and getting to know them on a more personal level. I'll never get that from watching Rory or Tiger play. I'd rather see how the Bryan Bros. do on a PGA tournament.
