The start of the new TGL golf league is right around the corner and Boston Common Golf member Rory McIlroy is answering some questions regarding the difference between LIV and TGL.

The TGL would be better if each team consisted of 2 PGA players (to allowing for scheduling conflicts), 1 LPGA player and 1 from the Champions Tour. That would bring in more demographics of viewership and sponsorship and would add new elements to the game. You could have a rule that no single player could tee-off more than 1/3 of the holes, so the PGA player could still hit the tee shot on the par 5s and the long par 4s. Thing is... there's no walking. So after the tee shot, there's a lot of equal footing between the players. Who don't think the TGL wouldn't benefit from having, Nelly, Brooke, Lydia, Charley, Freddie, Ernie, Bernhard and many more involved with this? You have talent and personalities galore!

The difference between this and Liv is I’m not making any money from Liv. For such a good golfer Rory continues to make it impossible to like him

No I’ll say I do enjoy TGL. But wow. Rory being such a good little boy to make sure he doesn’t upset Jay Monohan and the PGA. They got pics os Rory or something?

So went to a LIV tournament last year I'm 50 so I'm not really their demographic, LIV rocks, watched this TGL and it sucks, probably OK if your playing, but for TV it's wank

Difference is - Rory & tiger like TGL and the scabs at pga tour … but aren’t interested in millions of dollars (cause TheY have enough) the PIF and LiVgolF can offer them & the game of pro golf !!!

It really confuses me why people are so bent out of shape about Rory. All he did was say LIV is bad for golf. Which it is.
