How does it work if you're on a hill? Do you still hit off of a flat surface?

Basically takes the elements and walking out of play. Matches are so quick this way. Problem is you can only play one foursome at a time unless you have multiple screenplay and greens. A 5our round of golf would only take hour and a half on this its that quick. You select your club tee off. Then if your bags are closeby select your next club and wait 30secs while your partner hits. Then you hit your second shot within 30sec of hitting your first and so on for your next 2 shots then you walk 15 secs to the green and place your ball and putting out. All in all 1 hole takes approx 5 minutes for 2 people to play. 10 for 4 people. So foursome takes about 1hr 40mins to play a round. An out door round driving without crowds is 3hr 30min minimum with cart. 5hr minimum walking for a foursome. Ive watched it. Its way better. Every one gets to see every hit and celebration. They have music, diners, karaoke, bars, dance floors kids stuff. Its a lot to do plus watch some golf. It's top golf on steroids.

so much better than playing off mats and no weather delays! Some question though, when the players get within range of the hole, what is the playing surface? Is it real grass on the greens? Does the green change from hole to hole to replicate the course they course they are playing 'virtually'?

Would be neat if they have rollers under the green to manipulate the green to match the green on the hole. Other ideas the guys will have eventually just one put from anywhere on the green.

I actually find im watching more YT golfers these days. From high handicappers to on course lessons. Dan Grieve for example is great. Don't know if ill be too pushed to watch this. Im not particularly impressed by Pro golf "personalities"...

Only thing worse than playing simulator golf is watching simulator golf. Only thing worse than that, is watching a simulation of simulator golf.

To each his own, but as a former course worker this is the stuff I despise. Enough with the gimmicky matches and stuff like this, it only diminishes the game. The recent event at night in Vegas was a true yawner, just another money grab. Let's be clear, this is more about rich men getting even more $$ and not as much about pure entertainment. The PGAs lame attempt to be "LIV-Like", I'd have to be pretty bored to watch much. I'm not a conspiracy person but sims can be manipulated obviously and certainly not a natural environment for golf. It's funny watching these ultra rich pros try so hard to build this up as something fantastic.
