Chopping Dill

Holding the dill by the thinner end in one hand, use your thumb, index and middle finger of your other hand to gently pull against the leaf growth direction along the length of the dill stem to remove the leaves. Gather the leaves on your cutting board and run your knife through the leaves a few times. Tip: Soft stems are ok to chop, it’s the firm, woody stems that must be removed.
