New court documents show that the off-duty pilot accused of trying to disable the engines of an Alaska Airlines flight told police afterward that he had taken psychedelic mushrooms two days earlier and was suffering a nervous breakdown.

"Turn off the engine" is incorrect reporting and misinformation. He was trying to engage the fire suppression system, then tried to open an emergency exit mid flight. Report the news correctly or don't report at all.

You guys disable comments on videos that you know will bring your station criticism which is essential to ensure unbiased journalism.
